Overview/Description

Discover how Amazon Web Services (AWS) Backup provides a centralized backup solution and Simple Storage Service (S3) security mechanisms such as encryption and blocking public access. In this course, learners explore how S3 cross-region replication increases fault tolerance, while CloudFront caches website content near users that request it. Course participants will also learn how to configure and use AWS Backup, as well as restore backups in the cloud; how to control access with S3 Block Public Access, which helps manage and control permissions and provides settings for access points, buckets, and accounts to help you manage public access; how to enable S3 bucket encryption using graphical user interface (GUI), command-line interface (CLI), and PowerShell, a task-based command-line shell and scripting language. And finally, you will learn how web service CloudFront can speed up access and distribution of your static and dynamic web content. This course can be used in preparation for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate SAA-C02 exam.
