TIFFANY ABINSAY
Tiffany Abinsay is the Head of Learning Technology for Citi, and has been with the company since 2007. She has held many different roles at Citi in the learning and talent space, across Operations, Technology and L&D.
Currently, Tiffany leads the team responsible for managing the implementation and strategy of all learning systems across Citi, including SumTotal and Degreed. She has been engaged in multiple enterprise system transitions to SaaS. Tiffany has a background in Computer Science, which helps to bridge the gap between business and technical knowledge to drive innovative solutions.

SHAWN ACHOR
Shawn Achor is The New York Times best–selling author of The Happiness Advantage and Big Potential. He spent 12 years at Harvard, where he won over a dozen distinguished teaching awards. Since then, Shawn has traveled to more than 50 countries and has worked with over a third of the Fortune 100 companies on how to create interconnected happiness and success. Shawn has spoken all over the world from Camp David to shantytowns in Zimbabwe, and worked with the NFL, NASA, the Pentagon and the U.S. Treasury. His research made the cover of Harvard Business Review, his TED talk is one of the most popular of all time with over 20 million views, and his lecture airing on PBS has been seen by millions.

LUCY ADAMS
Lucy is the founder of Disruptive HR which she created having grown frustrated with the lack of innovation and fresh thinking in the profession. She works with business leaders and HR professionals across the world to help them lead, engage and develop their people differently. Having led HR in major organisations such as the BBC, she knows why HR has to change and offers genuinely fresh perspectives on how to do it.

ANDY ANDERSON
Andy Anderson is a Strategic Planning Analyst within the Global Strategy Office at Lexmark international, and her responsibilities include synthesizing multiple input points then provide context and direction for best business outcomes. She also supports a strategy cross functional team comprised of 30+ senior Lexmark leaders, providing strategic initiative status, developing supporting process and delivering informational context for executive and leadership decision making. Andy joined the Strategy Office in October of 2018. Prior to serving in the strategy office, Andy pioneered new managed print service offers targeting midmarket customers and channel partner growth. These offers were developed with simplicity and ease-of-use in mind and included behind-the-scenes automated opportunity management, dashboard monitoring and consistent offer governance.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts and was awarded Honors Graduate in Fine Arts from Indiana University. She also holds a Master’s in Design degree and was awarded Honors Graduate from University of Cincinnati.

JOHN ARENDES
John Arendes is the Vice President and General Manager of Global Compliance Solutions at Skillsoft. John is responsible for leading the direction of Skillsoft’s Global Compliance solutions, ensuring the company’s compliance programs have a multinational impact on organizations. John works closely with many clients in identifying best practices for successful compliance training programs. John’s experience crosses multiple verticals in dealing with compliance training. Prior to joining Skillsoft, John was Head of Compliance Learning, North America for Thomson Reuters.

NIKHIL ARORA
Nikhil is currently responsible for leading GoDaddy’s India business, constantly working towards identifying new growth strategies for small businesses in the country. Nikhil joined the company in 2017, and since then, has taken the world’s largest internet domain registrar and web hosting company to new summits, bagging the honor of The Economic Times Best Brands 2019 Award and NexBrands’ Thought Leadership & Brand Innovation Award two times in a row.
His focus is on forging a connection with entrepreneurs as they try to make their way in a fast-changing economy and has become an avid voice for small businesses opening themselves up to digital possibilities. A recent recipient of The Economic Times’ Most Promising Business Leaders of Asia 2019 award, Nikhil has been using press and social media platforms to highlight important ways in which the Indian consumer is changing, and the various resources small businesses have at their disposal today to capture this new market.

Bidisha Banerjee
Bidisha Banerjee is the Group Vice President Learning, Culture and Employer Branding at Welspun Group. Bidisha has close to 20 years of rich experience across industries including Retail, Insurance and Telecom with MNCs and Indian Organizations. Bidisha is known for her forward-thinking attitude. She is an expert in driving Organization Culture Change Initiatives and HR Strategy in line with the business.
She is passionate about incorporating skill development for the differently abled as well as working with members of the LGBT community. She has been a speaker in many prestigious events like SHRM HR Conference, LinkedIn Learning Sessions in the India Head Quarters and the Skillsoft Annual India Conference.
She believes that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. She is an Alumnus of SDA Bocconi Milan where she has a business degree with a specialization in Design Thinking.
Bidisha is an expert in her field and has several certifications. She is an ICF Certified Coach, ATD certified trainer, a certified Hogan Practitioner and Certified Consultant from Human Synergistic International on Organizational Culture Inventory/ Organizational Effectiveness Inventory to name a few.
She is a keen traveller and draws inspiration and learning from various culture and people.

MARIENNE BERNARDES
Marienne is a multi-lingual, innovative HR executive with significant experience in business operations and talent management with proven ability in bridging both worlds. She partners with senior executives and internal clients to drive change and deliver profit from unexpected sources.
While Marienne is a distinguished and influential speaker, she has mostly been sought for her business acumen and experience in the wireless, retail, automotive, financial, and entertainment industries. She has a gift for developing successful partnerships with peer organizations and vendors. Marienne has a passion for following market and technology trends and uses her perceptive insights to create award-winning solutions for complex problems—while applying human-centered design. Collaborative and inclusive, Marienne is known for her servant leadership and her ability to build diverse, high-performing, and synergistic teams.

JOSH BERSIN
Josh Bersin is an analyst, author, educator, and thought leader focusing on the global talent market and the challenges and trends impacting business workforces around the world. He studies the world of work, HR and leadership practices, and the broad talent technology market. He is cited as one of the leading HR and workplace industry analysts in the world and is frequently featured in talent and business publications such as Forbes, Harvard Business Review, HR Executive, Fast Company, The Wall Street Journal, and CLO Magazine.
He founded Bersin & Associates in 2001 to provide research and advisory services focused on corporate learning. In 2019, Bersin launched the Josh Bersin Academy, the world’s first global development academy for HR and talent professionals at all levels and across all industries.

DEREK BLAKE
At PSAV, the leader in Event Technology for meetings and events, Derek Blake (Divisional Vice President) oversees the company’s global learning efforts, which are instrumental to develop team members while maximizing business results. As PSAV grows, the global learning team seeks to understand both our internal and external customers and develop strategies to provide the right learning at the right time.
Blake began his career in sales back in 1997 at Ameriquest Capital, starting out as a sales associate and progressed through five promotions before becoming VP of Sales leading 80+ locations and 1500+ team members as the youngest senior leader (age 28). After being approached by the Chief People Officer, he then transitioned from the field and joined the corporate senior leadership team overseeing training and organizational development. After nearly a 10-year career with Ameriquest, he joined Wachovia Bank (Nation’s 4th largest bank) leading the learning organization in 2006. Working through the unfortunate financial market meltdown, he joined PSAV at the end of 2009 overseeing a small L&D team and growing it to a Global Team of 20 today. Blake earned his BA in Business Management from Emmanuel College in Boston, and his MBA from Regis University.

GRAHAM BLAXELL
Following a successful career as a primary school principal, Graham moved on to adult learning with Not For Profit organizations in the areas of youth homelessness, child protection and aged care. He worked for a number of years as an independent learning consultant with mid to large sized national and international organizations before his current learning manager role in the finance sector.
Currently Graham is the Manager, Learning Performance and Design at Flexigroup. Flexigroup is a diversified financial services organization operating in Australia, New Zealand and Ireland. In this role Graham has been part of the L&D Leadership Group that has changed the perspective at Flexigroup from one of training to one of learning.
Prompted by the Royal Commission into Aged Care in Australia, Graham completed his Master’s degree in 2018 with his thesis entitled “Issues in Mandatory Training in Aged Care in Australia.” This research highlighted a number of significant problems with learning in the sector and has subsequently been published internationally.
Graham is an active member and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Training and Development, AITD. He has served on the NSW Divisional Council and as a volunteer mentor in recent years.

Dan Boccabella
For over 20 years, Dan’s exclusive focus has been helping leading organizations re-engineer their HR processes. Dan has held product leadership roles at SumTotal since 2006. In his current role, Dan’s product strategy team is responsible for determining the SumTotal suite-wide roadmap based on feedback from internal teams and customers as well as broader market trends.
A recognized expert in Human Capital management, Dan has presented at many national human resource forums including Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), World at Work, International Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) and the HR Technology Conference & Expo.

MICHELLE BOOCKOFF-BAJDEK
As Chief Marketing Officer, Michelle Boockoff-Bajdek (BB) leads a global marketing organization focused on helping companies unlock the hidden value inside their greatest asset – their people.
In her role, Michelle is responsible for the company’s marketing strategy to drive growth, generate awareness, and drive demand for Skillsoft solutions among learners, customers, and partners. She oversees all key functions, including customer marketing, corporate communications, demand generation, marketing operations and business development. Most importantly, she serves as the company’s brand evangelist, helping to build a vibrant community of passionate learners.
Prior to Skillsoft, Michelle held several executive roles in the high-tech sector, most notably as the CMO of IBM Watson, where she was responsible for marketing the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) products and solutions. Michelle also served as the global head of marketing for The Weather Company, an IBM Business, where she helped companies understand how to anticipate, plan for and ultimately make better decisions – with greater confidence – in the face of weather.
Michelle is a prolific speaker on the topics of emerging technology and marketing trends, and a passionate advocate of the advancement of women in business. Michelle holds a Master’s in Communications Management from Simmons College and sits on the pro-side of the Oxford comma debate.

Rich Buttiglieri
Rich’s background includes over 30 years working in high tech in a variety of User Experience roles, including designer, developer, researcher, manager, consultant and now, director. He has worked on large, complex enterprise applications used by tens of millions, from consumer electronics, medical devices and SAAS web applications. Rich has contributed to several industry texts and articles and presented on a wide range of user experience topics at several UXPA conferences and CEA Consumer Electronics Shows. He was also a repeat judge for several prestigious product design competitions, including IDSA’s Innovations Award at CES, HFES’ User Centered Product Design Award, Appliance Design Award and Mobile Internet World design competition.

ROSIE CAIRNES
Rosie Cairnes is Regional Vice President for Skillsoft Asia Pacific. With more than 23 years of experience working with both national and global organizations across a wide variety of industry sectors and government agencies, and specializing in cloud-based learning and performance support solutions, Rosie’s goal is to help organizations align learning with strategic business goals to deliver quantifiable results and impact that benefit both the organizations and their employees.
Rosie has led the Skillsoft Australia & New Zealand business for the past seven years and has recently taken on responsibility for greater Asia Pacific Region. With many years working in the region and across all business verticals in the industry, Rosie’s passion is to educate business leaders on the importance of learning as a strategic lever for the enterprise.
Rosie believes in the value of a quality, contemporary learning experience for the employee that delivers results aligned to strategic imperatives: “Modern learning solutions need to have the learner, the way we work, and the needs of the organization in mind to be effective and impactful. To meet today’s demands, it is not just what we’re learning but how we’re learning that matters.”

POTOULA CHRESOMALES
As Senior Vice President of Product Management, Potoula is responsible for product development, innovation, and user experience design including the launch of the award-winning Percipio intelligent learning platform. Potoula leads the product organization in agile product development and lean product practices of prototype-test-iterate to ensure we are building products our customers will love. Prior to joining Skillsoft, Potoula held leadership positions in digital product management and marketing at Kaplan Test Prep, The College Board, McGraw-Hill, and JPMorgan Chase. Potoula has an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth and a BS from New York University.

EVANGELINE CHUA
Evangeline Chua is the Chief People Officer at GovTech. Her key drivers are People, Passion and Performance through inculcating values and culture, and investing in people to drive results collectively.
In her former role, Evangeline was the Managing Director of Organization & People for Temasek International, responsible for the full spectrum of HR practices across 9 cities. Prior to joining Temasek, Evangeline was with Citi Singapore for a total of 12 years. She was appointed as the Country Head of Human Resources in April 2013 after managing cross functional initiatives for close to three years as the Head of Talent, Resourcing, Learning & Development, and HR Risk, Tax and Financials. During this time, she was the HR business partner to the Corporate & Institutions, Regional Consumer Banking, Global Functions and Transaction Banking for Citi’s franchise in Singapore.
As the Head of Human Resources for Singapore, Evangeline brings great passion and breadth of experience to the role. She is responsible for the design of human resource practices to effectively support the organization’s strategy with the vision to implement best HR practices to attract, engage and motivate.
Evangeline has over 20 years of diverse regional experience in human resource management and business operations within the banking and property sectors. She was previously with Barclays Technology Centre Singapore, Standard Chartered Bank, PREMAS International Limited, Times Publishing Ltd and EM Services Pte Ltd.

SHARI DANIEL
Shari Daniel is Skillsoft’s Principal Solution Architect for Compliance. As a recognized thought leader and practitioner for Legal and Environmental Safety & Health Compliance, Shari is responsible for consulting with organizations on their strategic compliance initiatives. Shari works with prospects and clients to demonstrate our suite of compliance products and offerings and assists in designing and implementing solutions to help make a company’s compliance program successful.
Ms. Daniel has over 23 years of experience in organizational development, learning and project management, where the last thirteen years have been focused on compliance. As the team leader and go-to-person for the Skillsoft North American Compliance Consulting team, she was responsible for managing the learning consultant team and advising organizations at all levels on the implementation and best practices of their learning programs.
As a member of the Skillsoft Global Compliance Solutions management team, she provides insight on future products, technologies and services. With extensive industry knowledge of emerging trends and a frequent participant in key conferences, Shari draws upon her expertise to advise organizations of all sizes to help guide their success for impactful compliance initiatives. Shari is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), Association for Talent Development (ATD) and a PMP and member of the Project Management Institute.

MARY DAVIS
Mary Davis is the Chief Executive Officer of Special Olympics International. In this role, she leads an international team of more than 200 professionals throughout the world who are addressing inactivity, injustice, intolerance and social isolation for people with intellectual disabilities. The Special Olympics movement currently serves nearly 5 million athletes with intellectual disabilities, holds more than 94,000 competitions annually and welcomes more than one million coaches and volunteers who help make grassroots operations possible.
Mary, from Co. Mayo in Ireland, started with Special Olympics soon after college as a local program volunteer and coach. Since then she has served in a series of leadership roles, helping create our first-ever Regional games, the 1985 Special Olympics European Games, working to build a powerful national Program as CEO of Special Olympics Ireland, and helping globalize our movement as CEO of the first Special Olympics World Summer Games held outside the US. She also served as Regional President of the Europe Eurasia Region of Special Olympics, overseeing the growth and development of Special Olympics across 58 countries in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia from 2009 – 2016.
Mary Davis was the driving force behind the hugely successful Special Olympics World Summer Games when they were staged in Ireland in 2003. She served as CEO of these Games, which were the first World Summer Games held outside the U.S. since Eunice Kennedy Shriver founded the movement in 1968. It was the largest sporting event in the world that year. She was awarded Person of the Year in 2003 for her work on the Games, as well as recognition for her years of service with Special Olympics Ireland. In 2004, then-President of Ireland Mary McAleese appointed Mary Davis to her Council of State [advisory body to the President on legislative matters], where she remained until 2011.

GÜNTER DEUTSCH
Based in Vienna, Austria, Günter Deutsch is responsible for global Learning & Development in the Atos Group. He leads a global team that oversees people development and training in all Atos divisions, industries and regions. His core focus lies in setting the people development strategy, enabling and ensuring its execution and delivering quality education to their workforce. His career includes various roles in IT, mainly as project manager, consultant and business developer.

NEELAM DHAWAN
With over thirty-five years of experience in the IT industry, managing complex technologies in highly matrixed organizations, Neelam is an icon and mentor for the tech world. Her sessions help businesses understand and thrive with the “new reality” of technology; and talk about how technology is changing the face of sectors such as healthcare.
Neelam has been a key participant in shaping the IT industry in India. Her career has spanned some of the biggest industry milestones, which gave Neelam the opportunity to work alongside the key architects of the sector in India. Leading business journals such as Fortune (international edition), Forbes and Business Today have recognized her as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business.

SAM DOAN
Sam Doan is a seasoned IT professional and currently a Technology & Development Solutions Principal at Skillsoft, where he is responsible for advising and consulting Skillsoft’s global enterprise customers on their most perplexing IT concerns, particularly around upskilling their workforce for the future. Prior to joining Skillsoft, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from previous technical customer-engaging roles at Fortune 100 companies such as Microsoft and Cisco. His knowledge domains include, but are not limited to, high tech, finance, fintech, retail, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, public sector and manufacturing. He holds a double bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, and a master’s degree from Harvard University.

DEBASIS DUTTA
Debasis Dutta is the Vice President and General Manager of Product and User Experience for SumTotal Systems. Debasis joined SumTotal in 2015 as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to SumTotal, Debasis was with Oracle in different leadership positions to build the next generation Fusion product for HCM. Debasis has 22 years of rich, hands-on experience in the HCM space and loves to conceive and build innovative products that resonate with the latest technology trends. He has a Computer Science degree from Jadavpur University and an MBA from IIM Bangalore.

Richard Elliott
Richard has been leading transformational change initiatives for over 15 years, having emigrated to NZ 6 years ago from the UK. After experiencing the telco boom and dot.com bubble of late 90s first hand as an entrepreneur and then as a digital product manager within a corporation, Richard worked for several years as a consultant in the banking, engineering and transport sectors. On joining Network Rail in 2006, he led a work stream on skills and capability as part of a major transformation of the procurement and supply chain function. Ever since then, Richard has maintained an active interest how a better understanding of the supply and demand of skills and capabilities can become a key performance differentiator for organizations. He has since led a number of major change programs across a wide range of industries and functions but all with a common emphasis on growing new capabilities, achieved through getting the best out of enabling technologies, data and people.
He joined the team at the University of Auckland in 2018 to lead transformation in Connect, the university’s digital services function. A central pillar for delivering the University’s digital strategy, his multi-year ITX program has people development and creating a curious, creative and innovative culture in support of New Zealand’s world class teaching and research institution at its heart.

CHRIS ELLIS
Chris Ellis works as Solution Architect at Skillsoft in EMEA and really enjoys creating and delivering platform and content demos for new customers. Chris also runs customer evaluation pilots of Percipio with up to 200 global pilot participants whilst enabling their leaning access and capturing detailed feedback to inform business purchasing decisions on learning solutions.
Chris’ career spans Hospital Supply Chain Logistics, University learning and now corporate learning at Skillsoft.
His favourite biscuits are Jaffa Cakes and favourite drink is made from malted barley, yeast and hops… As you will see, Chris missed out on a final haircut before the lockdown.

EMMA ENGEL
Emma leads the Global Talent Growth team responsible for growth, performance and development. This team enables learning (Unisys University), growth (performance management, succession and career development), engagement (surveys and actions) and inclusion (learning and development initiatives).
As a versatile, global talent executive, Emma Engel increases enterprise value by partnering with executive leadership and clients to identify and resolve performance gaps. She effectively directs teams that design innovative and cost-effective solutions that accelerate business growth and improve the talent pipeline without disrupting business momentum. She has worked in multiple industries in 21 cities across five continents, with roles in sales, operations, delivery and consulting for multinational organizations that include Aon Hewitt, Dimension data, Siebel systems and Wolters Kluwer.
Emma holds a post-graduate Certificate in Management from the Macquarie University Graduate School of Management in New South Wales, Australia. Her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Clinical psychology is from Rand Afrikaans University, Johannesburg, South Africa. Emma and her husband live northwest of Philadelphia in Souderton Township. Emma enjoys travel with her husband, cooking, quilting and playing with her two rescue dogs.

Faraaz Farshori
Faraaz Farshori has over nineteen years of experience in the software industry, including Learning solution architecture, Learning product design, eLearning content development, Learning Management System deployment, customizations and configurations, UI/UX/Graphics/Visual/Web design, Project management and Customer support. He has held responsible portfolios in solution architecture, team building, business development, project management, product design, UI/UX and graphic design, vendor management, operations management and total quality management. Faraaz is highly skilled in closing business deals pertaining to learning software products, cost & budgeting, proposal development and RFP response development across India, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Craig Fearon
Craig Fearon is a Senior Product Director at SumTotal. In this role, he is responsible for the product roadmap and vision for several of SumTotal’s products, including Reporting, Core Platform and Workforce Management. He has extensive domain knowledge in the HCM market and has worked with SumTotal for over 19 years in a variety of roles, including Product Management, Sales, Consulting and Partner Management.

Karen Freedman
Karen Freedman is Vice President and manager of enterprise learning at FM Global, one of the world’s largest commercial property insurers. Karen is responsible for the education and training of 5,500 employees and thousands of clients worldwide. Karen has transformed the company’s entire approach to learning since 2005, both for employees as well as clients. Her innovative learning approaches for clients has earned her Risk & Insurance magazine’s 2010 Risk Innovator award for the insurance industry – an award that recognizes those who demonstrate innovation and develop creative, out of the ordinary solutions for risk mitigation. FM Global’s hands-on engineering learning facility, the SimZone, won the Business Insurance 2014 Innovation Award and FM Global is a two-time ATD BEST winner. FM Global’s learning management system, which was approved and implemented under Karen’s leadership, was highlighted in the 2010 release of Joel Kurtzman’s latest business book: Common Purpose: How Great Leaders Get Organizations to Achieve the Extraordinary. Karen has overseen the design and construction of FM Global’s state-of-the-art 40,000 SF learning center in Norwood, MA and the client-facing learning center in Singapore. Karen is President of the Bay Colonies ATD chapter and Vice Chair of her public school district’s elected school board. She is also a member of The Conference Board’s Talent & Organization Development Executive Council.

DR. HEIDI GRANT
Dr. Heidi Grant, social psychologist and researcher, will keynote a live event in which she explores the mindsets needed to ensure growth. In her talk, Dr. Grant will focus on the “Get Better” mindset, one in which learning is key. In this mindset, we welcome risk and are less afraid of failure, both of which are critical to personal and professional success and resilience.

ARVIND GUPTA
Arvind Gupta is the Head and Co-Founder of the Digital India Foundation, a policy think tank working in areas of Digital Inclusion, Smart Cities, Internet Governance, Data Privacy & Cyber Security, and Electronics Manufacturing.
Arvind has over 27 years of industry experience, having worked in diverse sectors in a variety of leadership, policy and entrepreneurial profiles in India and Silicon Valley, USA. He has been on the Global FinTech Top100 list of Influencers and also a Member of The World Economic Forum’s Global Futures Council on Digital Economy & Society, OECD Expert Member of Global Value Chains.

JULIE HIIPAKKA
Julie is the Vice President, Learning Research for Bersin, Deloitte Consulting LLP. With 22 years of experience across learning and development, talent management and professional services, Julie helps organizations create business impact by connecting learning, talent and organizational change efforts to organizational goals and strategy. Her current research priorities include how organizations are bringing learning into the flow of work, the learning technology landscape and how organizations can adapt to the future of work by focusing on nurturing human capabilities in their workforce.
As a learning leader inside a professional services firm, she created global onboarding programs, used peer-created learning within leadership training, directed culture change efforts associated with multiple mergers and integrations and led a globally distributed team. She has also led a managed services business and held a variety of sales, management, recruiting and consulting roles. A Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, Julie holds a master’s degree in communication from Florida State University. She lives in Chicago with her husband Eric.

JASON HO
As Head of Group Human Resources, Jason leads the People and Organizational strategy at OCBC Bank. He has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. The crossover from business operations to human resource management three years ago puts him in a strong position to bridge the gap between OCBC Bank’s business and people agenda and prepare for a future that is ready to embrace change brought by technological reforms and the digital revolution. Jason champions HR transformation with the singular purpose of driving an employee experience that brings out the best in employees to achieve business outcomes for OCBC Bank. His mission is to prepare the business and the workforce for the future of work.

SYED AZFAR HUSSAIN
Azfar is currently the Group Head, Organization & Talent Development for RPG, a role that he moved to in January 2018. Before that he was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Zensar Technologies. He has nearly 27 years of experience in HR at global, regional, country, business and site levels at Alcan, Hewlett Packard, Deloitte & Touche and Flextronics and has lived and worked in the US and China in addition to India.

Brian Irvin
Brian Irvin is Team Lead, North America Solution Architects at Skillsoft, where he leads a presales team dedicated to helping organizations envision how Skillsoft’s digital content and technology solutions ensure their workforces are empowered to succeed.
Brian launched his career in Silicon Valley with several start-up technology firms that have since grown into some of the most successful heavyweights in the technology vertical. Spanning his 19 years of experience, his focus has been on the design, delivery, management and measurement of innovative, mission-critical corporate learning initiatives. Brian holds his BA from Henderson State University and has completed post graduate work at Texas A&M and ROI Institute.

Aruna Jayanthi
Aruna became Managing Director of APAC and LatAm in July 2018.
Prior to this, from 2016, Aruna was Head of Business Services, a strategic business unit that provides BPO and Platform (integrated technology and operations) services based on Capgemini’s IP for various industry segments.
Between 2011 and 2015, Aruna was Head of Capgemini in India, where she managed the operations of all business units covering consulting, technology and outsourcing services in the country, to support the Group’s growth agenda and strengthen India’s position as an industrialization and innovation hub. During her tenure, there was a significant increase in Indian integration, performance and capabilities with headcount rising from 32,000 to 85,000.
Aruna joined Capgemini in early 2000 and was part of the core team that initiated and set up the offshore capabilities. She has over three decades of experience in the IT services industry and has worked in key roles in multinational and Indian system integrator companies. From 2014 – 2018, she was the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Technology Calicut. Aruna is a member of the supervisory board of Compagnie Générale des Établissements Michelin SCA (Michelin Group). In 2018, she was conferred the prestigious French award of Knight of the Order of the Legion of Honour (Chevalier dans l’Ordre de la Légion d’Honneur).
Aruna holds a Master’s in Management Studies in Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai.

Charles Jones
Charles Jones is a Senior Solution Architect where he works with the sales team on customer strategy and visioning. He works with customers to uncover their business challenges and determines how SumTotal’s innovative solutions can solve those business issues.
Charles has more than 20 years of experience in the HR and Talent Management industry. Before joining SumTotal Systems, Charles worked at Centra Software, where he held several positions, including Director of Finance and HR, and Director of EMEA Operations.

STEPHAN KASULKE
Stephan works as the Vice President of Human Resources ExD for Deutsche Telekom. There, he drives digital learning and introduces a group-wide skill management process. His career spans more than 20 years in roles across software development, project management, infrastructure and architecture in the financial industry.
From 2012, he headed the Quality Unit at T-Systems International as Senior Vice President. His “Zero Outage” quality program is of paramount importance for cloud platforms and IoT systems.

MIKE KESSLER
Mike Kessler is the Chief Learning Officer for BAE Systems Inc. In his role, he has accountability for management and leadership development, organization development (team solutions), compliance training and aligning all learning throughout the US-based organization. Prior to assuming that role, Mike was Director, Organization Development where he was responsible for assessing organization development needs for senior clients, developing and aligning solutions to address core business issues and evaluating the impact of organization development efforts on improving business performance.
Mike joined BAE Systems in November 2011 from Fannie Mae where he was a Director of Human Resources with accountability for talent acquisition, HR policies and procedures, and business process outsourcing. Previously, Mike was the Senior Director of Human Capital for the American Red Cross National Headquarters with accountability for HR legal compliance, vendor management, talent acquisition and EEO/Affirmative Action.

KIMO KIPPEN
Kimo Kippen, Founder of Aloha Learning Advisors, is a thought leader, speaker and advocate for life-long learning and talent development. He is a native of Hawai’i, former Chief Learning Officer at Hilton, and has been recognized by CLO Magazine as Chief Learning Officer of the year–2015. Former Chair of ATD (2007), and VP of Learning at Marriott International, Kimo has been creating life-long learning solutions for hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

Monica started her career in corporate training at Xerox and because of her love for software and UX, quickly moved into product development, working with top cloud-based providers in both the online retail and learning space. ANURANJITA KUMAR
Anuranjita is a human resource veteran with over twenty-six years of experience working across the globe managing various assignments, including senior human resource roles in Asia, North America, and Europe through her stints at the Royal Bank Of Scotland and Citibank. Before joining RBS, she was the Head of Human Resources for Citi, South Asia. She is equipped with first-hand cross-cultural experience as a woman in the global corporate world and has deep-seated knowledge about the working culture and dynamics in various countries.

K Mahendra Kumar works as the Deputy General Manager of Learning & Development at BPCL. A learning journey starting from the Refinery as Labor Welfare Officer to his current role at BPCL has shaped K Mahendra’s thoughts and beliefs. Gary Lacey
Gary Lacey of SumTotal is what he would call “A techy that can talk to people.” He has been in the Talent Management sector for over 10 years and with SumTotal for over five of those as a Senior Solution Architect. Gary provides SumTotal’s prospects and clients with advice, best practices, future considerations and interactive and engaging demonstrations of SumTotal’s Talent Development Solution across EMEA. Madhavi Lall has been the head of HR at Deutsche Bank India since May 2015 and has nearly 30 years of experience. As a member of the Executive Committee at Deutsche Bank, Madhavi is responsible for shaping the people strategy in India and helps in building the employment brand for the organization. Prior to this she was Managing Director- HR at Accenture. She has also worked with companies like Standard Charted Bank, ABN Amro bank, Colgate Palmolive and HCL Hewlett- Packard. Karin Levitt
Karin Levitt is the Global Director of Talent Development for Hitachi Vantara. She has over 20 years of experience delivering innovative approaches to learning and organizational development programs for employees ranging from college graduates in their first job to company leaders. During her career she has worked in a variety of industries including entertainment, technology, advertising, education and consulting. Karin received a Masters Degree in Human Resource Education from Fordham University, where she later served as an adjunct instruction teaching Instructional Design.

Ashok Madaan
Ashok Madaan can be easily identified as the spearhead of the Learning and Development at HCL Technologies. An Industry veteran with over 32 years of experience in competency development and delivery unit head, he heads Learning & Development for 30000+ engineers in Engineering and R&D Services (ERS) of HCL Technologies.
Holding an MBA in International Business with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication, Mr. Madaan started his career from ALTOS India. He joined HCL in 1992 in the HCL Hewlett Packard Ltd. R&D division’s hardware design group. He was pivotal in transforming the HCL VLSI Business from a board manufacturer to a prominent provider of end to end embedded solutions.
He eventually moved on to the Learning & Development field and was the founder of the STAR Academy in ERS. Under his guidance and insight, the STAR academy has moved on from being a simple training facilitator of certain business units in HCL, to being entrusted with the Learning & Development of the entire ERS, with many programs and portfolios under his wing. He has been known for many notable firsts in HCL, such as the STAR Academy, Fresher Program, Executive Learning programs and Technology competency horizontal and has been a key component of the corporate strategy and direction of the HCL Group.
In his spare time, he practices meditation and mindfulness, while often hosting sessions on mindfulness and emotional calmness. He is associated with many foundations and is an active volunteer in several programs and events.

DR. MALAY MAHADEVIA
Dr. Malay Mahadevia is Group HR Director, Adani Group and Whole Time Director (WTD) of Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.
Dr. Malay Mahadevia joined Adani in 1992 and worked on developing Mundra port from conceptualization to commissioning. In the past he occupied several leadership position including Director and CEO of various business verticals of Adani Group.

Nora is Group Chief Human Capital Officer and member of the Group EXCO of Maybank. She also chairs several national-level committees and holds several Board memberships. They also partner closely with the leadership development team to facilitate design and delivery of instructor-led programs. Her teams lead work to bring governance and a consistent learner lens to all the functional training teams. In addition, she has oversight and administration of American’s LMS and the operations at the AA Training Center.
Kari earned her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University along with a Secondary Education degree. She has been active in community work and also developed curriculum and training plans for non-profit organizations.

Casey Mee
Casey currently Heads up Transformation & Digital for the People Capability function in Standard Chartered Bank. As part of his role he manages the Bank’s learning platforms and is responsible for strategic partnerships within the digital learning space. Casey has been involved in corporate learning for over 15 years, and prior to joining Standard Chartered in 2018 he had sat on the other “side of the fence,” spending over 10 years with a leading global knowledge solutions company.

Heather Nault
Heather is Teradyne’s Global Learning and Organizational Development Director. In this role Heather is accountable for the Learning, Leadership Effectiveness and Organizational Development for over 5,000 global employees who lead test and automation solutions and power the technologies that inform, enrich and protect our lives by ensuring the reliability of electronics. Specifically, Heather is responsible for capability and competency development, strategic talent planning, organizational analysis and development, employee insights and engagement, performance management and career development.
Prior to joining Teradyne, Heather held a similar role in a Teradyne subsidiary, Universal Robots. Prior to that, Heather spent almost twenty years in financial and business services at Mercer. Dato Hamidah Naziadin

Prior to Skillsoft Books, Mark led strategic business development where he worked on cross functional project and services teams to deliver integrated learning experiences with Skillsoft’s key clients. Mark began his career in Skillsoft as VP Content Production after the Element K acquisition in 2011. His career with Element K spanned 15 years, where he was responsible for the company’s product strategy, content development and operational execution. Mark earned his MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and his undergraduate degree from State University of New York, College at Brockport.

Tanya M. Pang is Senior Manager, Performance & Capability Solutions, for Lockheed Martin Corporation. She is responsible for leading teams to design and develop performance and learning solutions for over 110,000 employees across the enterprise. Tanya is also the Corporate Functional lead for Atlas Learning, LM’s learning management system and overall learning technology strategy. In addition, her team is responsible for the delivery of enterprise-wide Program Management professional development on behalf of Lockheed Martin’s Program Management Council.
Tanya joined Lockheed Martin in 2009 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in performance consulting, instructional design and learning leadership. Today, she leads capability development and learning strategy for high impact, high visibility enterprise initiatives, to include large scale functional curriculum designs, strategic talent initiatives, enterprise risk and compliance training and major systems implementations.
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Tanya was Associate Director, Learning & Organizational Development at Kadix Systems, where she managed a portfolio of learning and organizational development programs. Her government clients included USDA, DHS, DoJ and DoD. Over the course of her career, Tanya has led the design and development of over 1,000 hours of learning and organizational development solutions in a variety of modern delivery modes and media.
Tanya holds a Masters of Human Resource Development and Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese Language and International Trade, both from Clemson University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Tanya is recognized externally for thought leadership in performance consulting, instructional design and learning technology and has served as faculty for Elliot Masie’s Learning conferences. In 2012, Tanya received Training Magazine’s Top Young Trainer award.

Mark Pessin

Apratim Purakayastha
AP is responsible for engineering, product management, cloud operations, and IT across all products in the Skillsoft group of companies. He has extensive experience in supporting rapidly growing technology companies including General Manager and SVP of SaaS at SevOne where he was responsible for its on-demand/ SaaS business segment, after holding the position of SVP Engineering. Prior to SevOne, AP held senior technology positions including Group President in ACI Worldwide and Director of Software at IBM. AP has a PhD in Computer Science from Duke University, an MS in Computer Science from Washington State University and a BS in Computer Science from Jadavpur University, India.

BENNY RAMOS
Benny Ramos is a Skillsoft solution expert for business and leadership training. A seasoned strategist with over 18 years’ experience in the learning industry, he brings relevant insights to clients in North America and Asia. Benny collaborates with organizations to help them understand how to utilize learning technology to drive performance. He has a keen understanding of competencies and best practices, and acts as the “Voice of the Customer” to help drive improvements in Skillsoft products. Prior to joining the Skillsoft, he led a learning function for a large Canadian telecom, which helps him provide a strategic and tactical perspective when speaking to audiences. Beth Teixeira is the Director of Learning at Comscore, a mid-sized tech organization in 20 countries. Beth manages a team that implements modern, scalable solutions that drive change and growth in learners regardless of level or location. She is co-chair of the Professional Women of Comscore board of directors.
In 2019, she received a corporate governance award from Corporate Secretary for best compliance and ethics program, as recognized by NASDAQ. In 2018, she received an innovation award from Skillsoft for developing a new learning modality called the continuous learning journey (CLJ).
After becoming a CPTD, Beth contributed to its exam revisions and in the development of ATD’s newest certification, the APTD.

Ray Toenniessen
Toenniessen is charged with cultivation and development of all new projects, programs and strategic initiatives for the institute, working in partnership with the related IVMF departments where the programs will eventually reside. He works with senior leadership to lead the IVMF’s advancement strategy and serves as a liaison to the external advisory board.
In his previous role as director of veteran outreach at SU’s Whitman School, he was instrumental in developing and executing educational programs for veterans and military families—including EBV-F, V-WISE and Operation Endure & Grow. He previously served as national managing director for EBV Consortium programs.
Toenniessen has extensive experience in program management, operations, administration, customer service and employee relations. A former Army officer, he served at the platoon, company and battalion levels in leadership and staff positions, including platoon leader, operations officer, convoy commander, contracting officer and detachment commander. In 2008, he deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was responsible for logistical activity for the entire central region. Under Toenniessen’s leadership, his unit successfully redeployed in 2009. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations and political science from SU’s College of Arts and Sciences and an MBA from the Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Irwin van Stavel

Dr. Walton also worked at Apple where he was the Head of Human Resources for nine of Apple’s businesses. In this role, Dr. Walton led a team of talent acquisition, talent management and human resources business partners that provided clients with world-class products and services that improved Apple’s business performance, leadership practices and organizational culture. Prior to Apple, Walton worked at Aleris International as the Vice President of Global Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness. At Aleris, Walton’s primary responsibility was driving business alignment, organizational capability and agility and implementation of a new organizational structure post private equity acquisition. This was accomplished through building a management system that allowed the senior team to be more effective at delivering key outcomes for key stakeholders and customers. Michael began his career as a research physicist, leading fundamental R&D efforts in semiconductor nanotechnology at IBM, Philips Electronics and Bell Laboratories. Michael received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard, and his Ph.D. from MIT.

Jessica Young Chang
Jessica is a writer, teacher, student of yoga and reproductive justice devotee. She’s been teaching yoga both online and in-person for five years. Originally from the Midwest, Jessica has degrees in Performance Studies and Creative Writing and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity at Harvard Divinity School.
